BACKGROUND
Emmanuel Babalola was born 16 years ago into the family of Mr. & Mrs. Gbenga Babalola without any form of deformity until 11 years ago when they noticed Tumor which began to grow in the leg. The growing leg Tumor later developed and extended to the back of the body. See the photographs.
The surgery was carried on the boy’s leg at Federal Orthopaedic Hospital, Igbobi, Lagos years ago on referral from Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) which cost was borne by the family.
Unfortunately, the father is an outsourced Driver with a private company with a meager pay and the mother is without job, as such they could not afford the cost of treatments.
The parents have been battling with the challenge up till now and the Tumor has grown so much that is threatening the life of the young boy.
